Safeguarding Policy

Your safety matters to us hence we take your concerns seriously and act quickly to protect anyone at risk. ELDA is committed to safeguarding older adults and all individuals who engage with our services. Our safeguarding approach is based on dignity, respect, empowerment, and protection from harm.

We take appropriate action to:

  • Protect personal and sensitive information
  • Respond promptly to concerns about abuse, neglect, or risk
  • Share information responsibly and only when necessary to protect someone from harm

All our staff are DBS checked to ensure an additional layer of safeguarding protection.

Our staff and volunteers receive regular safeguarding training, and our procedures are reviewed in line with best practice guidance.

How to report a safeguarding concern

Safeguarding concerns relating to ELDA services should be reported immediately via the website or the contact form.
